The Smart Biosphere

Working with the North Devon Biosphere we are building a platform to read, store, interpret and visualise data on the state of the biosphere in Northern Devon: the Smart Biosphere.

Carbon Capture and Storage

Focussing on the storage element we are working with partners in the Geomar research centre to build models for the fate of carbon dioxide in the subsurface, with emphasis on what happens if it escapes the storage reservoir / aquifer. 

Natural hydrogen systems modelling

Focussing on natural hydrogen systems, working with Bremen University, we exploring how hydrogen migrates in the subsurface. The work moves us toward systematic models for hydrogen systems.
