To date much environmental monitoring is siloed to specific domains or application areas. We aim to integrate data across domains, and space-time scales to enable a more complete understanding of the state of the natural environment across Northern Devon, and then provide tools to interpret and visualise this, customised to each stakeholder.
Building the tools
Provide a platform to integrate data from a range of sensors (and other measurement options) across the North Devon Biosphere.
Using best in class existing solutions, integrate storage for specimen, sample, sensor and remote sensing data across land, water, air and biosphere.
Using the integrated data provide customised views and summaries creating stakeholder specific dashboards focussing on the core data relevant to their interests.
Provide advanced data exploration, visualisation and modelling capabilities for domain experts wanting to explore the integrated data in greater detail, with support for uncertainty quantification.
