IGI is pleased to announce that version 2. 1 of both p:IGI+ and Metis are available. There’s a lot new in version 2. 1. Metis Integration:Geochemistry data managed in Metis can now be quickly and easily linked in a p:IGI+ project.

IGI are pleased to announce that in cooperation with the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) our commercial geochemical databases for the Barents Sea and Norwegian Sea are now publicly and freely available.

Biomarkers (biological marker compounds), in a petroleum geochemical context, are molecules found in oils and source rocks that have a chemical structure that can be unambiguously linked to a known natural product in living organisms.
