IGI Ltd is part of the EU-FLOWS scientific network and will participate in the Tromsø conference, hosted by CAGE – Centre for Arctic Gas Hydrate, Environment and Climate, at UiT (Norway).
The COST Action FLOWS (https://www.flows-cost.eu) - funded by the EU through the Horizon 2020 program - seeks to support the development of multidisciplinary knowledge on how seep fluid (bio)geochemistry relates to seismicity. The PI of the network, Dr Christian Hensen (Geomar, Kiel, Germany), will present an overview of work performed by EU-FLOWS members on natural gas in continental margins, including findings from IGI staff (Marianne Nuzzo) on the hydrocarbon and noble gas geochemistry of SW Iberian margin gas hydrate-bearing mud volcanoes.
