Around 80 delegates attended the conference “Petroleum Systems Analysis “Science or Art?” held at the Geological Society in London to celebrate the life of Chris Cornford (1948-2017).
Over the two days (24th & 25th April) there were a total of 22 talks covering a wide range of subjects and geographic areas. Together with around 15 posters, these provided a technical programme that was deliberately forward-looking and often questioned perceived wisdom – a programme that Chris would have been delighted with.
IGI would like to thank all the organizers of the conference for their hard work in putting this event together, and everyone who presented or merely attended and participated in discussions over coffee or a glass of wine. Everybody contributed to making the meeting a great success and a pleasure.
